Position Summary: AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Pompano Beach, FL that is a leading global aerospace manufacturer that specializes in the design and production of aircraft, aerospace equipment, and systems. We are looking for experienced A&P Mechanic/Technician who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment! The A&P Mechanic/Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, inspection, and modification of aircraft and aircraft systems in accordance with FAA regulations and company's standards of quality and safety. Essential Functions: Able to use FAA-approved data, i.e., IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc., proficiently. Performs airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements. Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systems. Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems, using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA. Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment. Completes all required maintenance records as stated in Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals. Requirements: ~ FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required. ~ High school diploma or general education degree GED required ~3+ years of Aviation Maintenance experience required. TBM/Turbo prop experience preferred. ~ Inspection experience/ IA designation preferred. ~ Experience with TBM aircraft, preferred. ~ Basic computer skills required. ~ Must be able to legally work in the US. ~ Valid US Driver’s License required. ~ Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen & background check.
