Position: Professional Chef

We are seeking a talented, experienced, and driven Chef to lead our back-of-house team. The ideal candidate is not only a skilled culinarian but also a natural leader who respects tradition while striving for excellence.

What We're Looking For:

• Deep enthusiasm for Ukrainian cuisine and culture
• Proven experience in a culinary leadership role
• Strong understanding of Ukrainian and Eastern European culinary techniques and ingredients
• Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to excellence
• Culinary certification required; Ukrainian language skills are a plus
• Manager-level ServeSafe Certification is required (non-negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Design and prepare authentic Ukrainian and Eastern European dishes, with a focus on breakfast and lunch service
• Supervise and delegate BOH responsibilities effectively
• Hire, train, and develop kitchen staff
• Innovate and elevate menu offerings based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences

Qualifications:

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Effective leadership and communication abilities
• Must hold valid and current food safety certification (Manager-level)
• Hands-on experience with traditional Ukrainian cuisine is essential
• Culinary degree or formal training preferred
