Post Location: Fort Pierce FPUA Post Schedule: Friday's 8:45am to 5:15pm plus Temp hours August 20, 2025, till September 5, 2025 Pay: $17.00 an hour About the Post: Excelsior Defense, Inc. is seeking a highly professional and reliable Unarmed Security Officer to join our elite team to protect our client's premises, assets, and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property of FPUA. The goal is to detect deter, observe and report. This post is stationed at the front desk, the officer must be prompt with incoming vendors, deliveries, and ensure a safe environment with a professional and polite manner. Key Responsibilities: Protect company's property and staff by maintain a safe and secure environment Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property Apprehend criminals and evict violators Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences Report in detain any suspicious incidents Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter Monitor and control access at building entraces Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment Maintain Access control entrance Requirements: ~Proven work experiences as a security officer or relevant position  ~ Valid Class D Security License (must be active) ~ Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment ~ Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures protocols ~ Monitor and control access at building entrances ~ watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment Apply Today to become a part of Excelsior Defense's growing and respected security team.
