The next lifeguard certification classes are: September Lifeguarding Class Saturday, September 13, 8 AM - 4 PM Sunday, September 14, 12 - 4 PM Saturday, September 20, 8 AM - 4 PM Sunday, September 21, 12 - 4 PM November Lifeguarding Class Saturday, November 8, 8 AM - 4 PM Sunday, November 9, 12 - 4 PM Saturday, November 15, 8 AM - 4 PM Sunday, November 16, 12 - 4 PM JOB LOCATION:Wellmark YMCA SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Morning, Evening, and Weekends PAY RANGE:$11.00-$13.00/hour CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: September 26th, 2025 - Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Enforce rules and procedures.Keep pool and pool deck free of obstructions and safety hazards.Maintain constant surveillance of the water and pool deck areas.Handle equipment as assigned to ensure safety.Record chemical readings.Know emergency procedures and is able to demonstrate them.Maintain emergency equipment.Respond to all emergencies.Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or designated staff person.Demonstrate and support the objectives of the Association as embodied in the mission statement and values.
