Job Description

As a Store Manager, you will empower your team to achieve outstanding operational results while delivering outstanding customer service.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working on-site 100% of the time in our Albany, GA store.

THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE. MOVING TO THE ALBANY AREA IS REQUIRED.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and profit plan by controlling expenses, working capital, inventory, shrinkage, and growing net contribution.
  • Focus on customer service by ensuring that high service standards are maintained.
  • Resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain a high level of associate engagement through leadership by training, mentoring, motivating, and resolving associate issues.
  • Maintain understanding of the local market, operations-based selling, and customer base.
  • Ensure that the appearance of the store's exterior and interior, including merchandising displays, is maintained to the required standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent certification with 1+ years management level experience required ; knowledge of application and use of paint and sundries is preferred.
  • Experience with computers and Internet applications required.
  • Must work flexible shifts and hours, minimum 45 hours required per week; must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds infrequently and 40-60 pounds routinely.
  • Must consent to a background investigation, drug test, and motor vehicle record check.
