We're Hiring: Rigger!
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in rigging operations, crane operations, and heavy lifting procedures to ensure safe and efficient material handling in industrial environments.

Work Mode: Work From Office
Role: Rigger
What You'll Do
Must have knowledge of chain fall/strap loading.
Must be able to rig large loads safely.
Underwater Hull propulsion rigging (rudders, propellers, fin stabilizers, shafts,)
Knowledge of ship's structure, anchor chains, associated equipment,
Staging construction, cranes and their capacities/chart, ship's mooring,
Candidate should be able to climb and have no fears of elevated heights.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check, US Citizenship due to working at
specific locations.
Knowledge of underwater hull rigging of shafting, propellers, rudders, is preferred.
Previous shipyard experience is preferred.
∙Must climb vertical ladder to travel to bottom of ship depending on location
∙Uses Tools
∙Wrench, Knife, Hammer, Form Slings, Towing Bridals, Looping, Splicing Cable, Crimping
Metal Rope, Installs Hooks, Swivels,
∙Selects and attaches gear, braces and cushions according to weight and distribution of
load
∙Signals workers operating cranes or other equipment to move load
∙Other duties may be assigned as workload dictates
What We're Looking For:

Riggers 1st & 2nd shift
Advise shift preference
1st shift 0600 – 2:30 - 2nd shift 3:00 – 11:30
May work 8, 10 or 12 hour shift depending on vessel
All safety requirements including firewatch
Previous Shipyard Experience is Perferred
7-10 years' rigging experience required.
No less than 5 years’ experience for 2nd class riggers
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three years of shipboard rigging experience
Ability to use hand tools and instruments associated with the rigging trade
